How long did you spend preparing for the event and what kind of training did you do?
I prepare and exercise all year round, sometimes there are weeks when I don’t exercise or do anything, if I’m already exhausted with work and studies. I have 2 horses and I do something with them every day, every exercise is a plus!
What motivated you to exercise?
The biggest motivation is good performances and if I’m being completely honest – winning. But also, it’s the people around me in this sport, those wins wouldn’t feel any that good without all of them 💘
Where do you train?
I train at home during spring/summer/fall, and in winter time I take part in Alisa’s training ring at the Nikkilä community center.
When do you feel like you’ve last failed and succeeded in this sport?
My latest failure was definitely 2024 and the showjumping championship. The last minute horse swap was a mistake even though Tuhti had SM-experience, e.g. my first SM-gold, but even then Tuhti and me had had too long of a training break and the performance was terrible!😂
My biggest success was most definitely my performance in the high jumping class, and being the Showjumping Champion in 2023.💘 The title of Showjumping Champion is definitely my most precious achievement.🥹

Free word: words of encouragement, tips etc
Major good luck’s wishes to everyone competing in the Finnish Nationals, the skill-level of riders keeps getting higher, and regardless of how many Nationals you’ve been through the suspense is always high!💘
Keep calm and get on the track!
