The Finnish Hobbyhorse Championship will be held again in 13.6.2026!

Of course! Spectators are warmly welcome. Spectator tickets are on sale in advance, and spectator tickets are also available at the door.

The competition fee includes entrance to the Seinäjoki Arena. Sale/vending fee also includes either one or two entrances, depending on the size of the table.

You register for open classes with no qualification by filling out a form, and by sending it you participate in the lottery for starting places. Those who get in will be drawn from among all those who have registered. In order to get into the International Freestyle class, you have toparticipate in the qualifiers and pass them, as well as accept a competition place to get to the final.

We do not require any competition experience to enter the Finnish Championship classes. Passing the qualifying rounds will qualify you to compete for the Finnish Championships.

Competitors for the open classes are selected through a lottery. Only the International Freestyle class have qualifiers.

We require a current Finnish citizenship for competitors in Finnish Championship classes.

The competition fee is paid according to the invoice you receive by a certain due date. Payment at the competition venue or late is not possible.

Invoices will be sent to those who participated in open classes only after registration has ended and places have been drawn.

International Freestyle qualifiers will be sent an email with a registration link to receive their finalplace after the results. After successful registration, you will receive an invoice to your email. Note: remember to check your own and your guardian’s spam email.

Note: if you pay the competition fee at the membership price, remember to make sure that you have the required year of membership. Competitors who have paid the competition fee at the membership price, but are not members, will be removed from the starting lists.

There is no age limit for merchants. Please note, that no separate assistant is allowed inside with the vendor.

Anyone can volunteer and help out! Volunteers who work for about 6 hours will be provided with a warm meal and coffee at the arena for free, free ticket to the event and a T-shirt! There’s no job too small or big to be helped with. You can also invite your friends and family to help out!

Yes you can. On the competition day, there are many bigger and smaller things to do, and in between you can also participate in the competition classes

When does registration for SM competitions start and end?
Registration for open classes takes place between January 1st -March 31st 2024. The results of the selections will be raffled on April 10, 2024. Entries for the International Freestyle class are made through the video qualifiers.

When can I register as a merchant?

Registration as a merchant starts 1.1.2024 and ends 1.2.2024. Tables are distributed in the order of registration. If the first registration does not fill all the places, further registration will be arranged 20.2.-31.3.2024. After 31.3.2024 registration as a merchant is impossible.
