There are a few different sizes of merchant tables available, and there is a fee for all tables. All sales items and decorations must fit on and under the designated table. Nothing is allowed to be placed on the aisles. Selling food is strictly prohibited. Selling anything outside the designated sales areas is strictly prohibited. Pre-agreed exchange situations are permitted.
Your sales must not disturb others. If you think that, for example, there is going to be a congestion on your table that is blocking the passageways, please contact us. Finnish Hobbyhorse Championships or Finnish Hobbyhorse Association are not responsible for trade between merchants and visitors.
Merchants’ tables are distributed in the order of registration. This year there will be limited number of tables available for every type of table, and every type of table has its own registration form. The amount of each table available will be published at the latest when the registration starts. Once the places in the main registration are full, registration for reserve places will open automatically. Reserve spots will be distributed in the order of registration. If a merchant from the main registration cancels their table, we will offer the table to the first on the reserve list. Please only register on the reserve list of the merchant table that you are ready to receive and pay for.
Merchants who have received a table will receive an invoice via email. The invoice must be paid within 14 days. If the merchant’s table has not been paid by the due date, the place is considered vacant. Cancellation is free until April 30nd 2026 and after that the table fee will not be refunded. In case of cancellation, please contact us via email keppihevostensm@skhhry.fi.
This year the names of the sales tables have been changed, but otherwise they look the same and are the same size as last year.
You can register as a merchant through Ilmari. Every available table size has its own form to fill. If you, for example, would like to reserve a size M table, click on the form called Size M. The table’s name will be on the registration form, please make sure it’s the right one.
When all the spots in main the registration fill up, registration for the waiting list opens. Waiting spots are shared in the order of registering. If a merchant from the main registration cancels their spot, we will offer that spot for the first in the waiting line. Please register only for the waiting line of the table size you are ready to accept and pay for.
Registration as a merchant opens on December 15th 2025 at 18.00. (UTC +2)
The registration is closed, but we still have few tables left. If you want to reserve table, please contact us as soon as possible keppihevostensm@gmail.com. Big enthusiast tables are unfortunately already sold out.
All table prices include 2 chairs and entrance tickets for two (2) people. That means you can have two different merchants on one table, or if needed, one merchant can have an assistant come in with them. Both will get the merchant wristband and can enter the arena in advance.
If you want to share a table among, for example, three people, you have to buy and pay for a normal visitor ticket for the third. With a visitor ticket you are not allowed to enter the arena in advance. This year there are no carrying assistants, so the merchant has to manage on their own or with an assistant/other merchant.
The merchants will get in to the arena on the competition day at about 8.30. The merchants will get in from the Hall B, door D. The sales area opens when the first visitors get inside. Before that, forming a line on the tables is prohibited as to prevent “poaching” items. The security staff along with event staff will supervise this heavily. When the doors open at 10.00, the merchants and their assistants need to be at their table ready to serve customers.
If you have any questions about the merchant tables Contact us!
-We recommend that merchants pick up their wristbands the day before during the advance wristband exchange at Seinäjoki Areena and arrive at the competition venue on time on Saturday. If you are unable to pick up your wristband on Friday, you can get it at door D of Hall B on the day of the competition. It is a good idea to arrive at the Arena as early as 8:30 a.m. on Saturday so that everyone has enough time to set up their sales tables. NOTE! If you are coming on Friday to help with volunteer work, you may bring your items to your own sales spot on Friday evening after your volunteer duties, if you wish! However, bringing your items is at your own risk, as there is no supervision at the venue on Friday evening/night. Seinäjoki Areena or Keppihevosten Suomenmestaruuskilpailut will not compensate for any damages.
-The price of each sales table includes two wristbands. The person who reserved the sales table can pick up both wristbands at the wristband exhange point. Therefore, if there are two mercants at a table, neither needs to pick up a wristband separately at the arena; it is sufficient for only the person who reserved the sales table to pick up the wristbands and give one to the other merchant. Only the person who reserved the sales table may pick up the wristbands. Wristbands must be worn on the wrist on the day of the competition before arriving at the arena!
-To speed up the entry for merchants, there is a car lane reserved for merchants only. Merchants may drive their vehicles to the unloading area marked on the map to unload their sales items. Everyone can load their items onto a cart and conveniently transport them to their own sales table. However, using the car lane is not mandatory; you may also enter through Door D of Hall B. Merchants arriving through Door D are also allowed to use carts to transport their items!
IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT THE CAR LANE
-The lane is one-way, and access is via Tiedekatu (see the attached map)
-Available from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., after which items will be brought in through the merchants’ entrance at door D of Hall B.
-Only merchants who have picked up their wristbands are allowed in the car lane. If you did not pick up your wristband the previous day, you must do so at door D of Hall B before entering the car lane. You can not get your wristband from the car lane. People without wristbands may assist with unloading goods in the unloading area, but a merchant wristband is required to enter the arena. Staff will also be on hand at the unloading area to assist with unloading items.
-The unloading area can accommodate 1–3 cars at a time. Unloading of items is permitted only in the unloading area. The unloading area is marked on-site with a yellow sign reading “PURKUALUE ALKAA TÄSTÄ / UNLOADING AREA STARTS HERE,” and the unloading area begins immediately after the sign.
-Once you arrive at the unloading area, pick up a cart from the location marked on the map, load your items onto the cart, and immediately move your car from the unloading area to the parking lot reserved for merchants (see the attached map). There are a few steps at the entrance, so the carts cannot be moved outside; please move your cart to the side of the door inside the hall to wait and carry your items inside. Do not move your items to your own sales table until after you have moved your car away from the unloading area. This ensures the smoothest possible flow at the car lane to prevent long lines. If you are alone, you can leave your items waiting by the door while you move your car; staff at the car lane will make sure your items remain safe.
-Once you have moved your items to your own sales table, unload them from the cart and return the cart immediately to the same place where you picked it up. For safety reasons, carts must be returned quickly, so please wait until you have returned the cart before setting up your items on your table.
-This year, it won’t be possible to have electrical outlets at the sales tables. So be sure to bring a backup power source if needed!
-Each table is marked with a number tag. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE NUMBER TAG FROM THE TABLE OR TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN THE EVENT IS OVER! The number tags are intended for use in future years and therefore must not be taken home.
-All items for sale and decorations must fit on top of or underneath the sales table so that they do not extend beyond the edge of the table into the passageway. Nothing may be placed in front of or next to the table! This rule will be enforced throughout the competition day.
-Tables must not be moved in any direction during the competition day. Tables must remain in the positions in which they were set up.
See you soon in Seinäjoki!
