SKHH ry western riding rules
Did you notice that there is a new version of the SKHH ry western riding rules that came into effect 1.2.? 🤠 Here’s a summary of the most notable changes:
– From now on, all western classes (excl. speed events) are divided into Amateur and Open divisions, which fundamentally affects competing. The evaluation of the Amateur classes is looser in comparison to the previous rule version, Open classes on the other hand have stricter evaluation. Do note that all classes at the Finnish Championships this June will be in the Open division❗️
– The course of the Horsemanship class and its reasons for disqualification have been further specified.
– The evaluation of Trail has been clarified.
– The scoring of All-around disciplines has been clarified.
– Misuse of competitor numbers has been added as a reason for disqualification.
– The english version of the rules has been retranslated in its entirety.
– Pole bending was added as an official discipline. 🤩
Please go over the rules with care before your next competition. 🔎 The newest version of the rules is found at skhhry.fi/en/materials/.
