This year, there are a total of four dressage classes: two Finnish Championship classes and two open to international competitors: International Freestyle and Advanced B. International Freestyle has its own qualification process. The Advanced B class, on the other hand, is part of the open classes, for which registration is done separately.
How to Qualify for the International Freestyle Class?
Qualification for the International Freestyle class is done through a pre-submitted video, and the top 15 riders will advance to the final. The qualifying round begins on January 6th, 2025, at 18:00 Finnish time (UTC+2). The first results will be published on the website on March 10, 2025, at 15:00 Finnish time (UTC+2). After that, it will be possible to register for a reserve place until March 24, 2025.
Open Dressage Class – Advanced B
Participants in the Advanced B class will be selected through a raffle, just like in the open jumping classes. Registration for the Advanced B class opens during the second registration period on March 15th, 2025. You can find more information about how to register for the open classes here.
